Install this update of FontExplorer X Pro BEFORE updating to Mac OS X 10.9.5 otherwise you will need to download the FontExplorer X software from our website and update manually.
Interface
Open the License folder inside and double-click the FEX file inside that.
Font license view now supports filtering with multiple criteria through use of the new "LIST" command. This is useful for reclaiming fonts from multiple machines all at once or for listing all fonts that contain Bold and/or Italic. LIST works for machines, users, fonts and deleted users, the command must be entered in uppercase (LIST) with parameters separated by the vertical bar |. Here is an example command to call up all fonts assigned to multiple machines: LIST|machineA|machineX|machineY
Also missing was a classification feature that the others had. Now FEX has it, and you can make your own categories. In fact, there are three areas: Usages (Comic, Newspaper, etc.), Themes (Business, Casual, etc.), and Categories (Serif, Script, etc.). You can't remove the choices FEX comes with, but you can add and delete your own custom ones. There's also an auto-classifying feature, but that appears not to be working properly at the moment (it uses an online database of Linotype's). Of course the classification info can be viewed in a column in the main font window and can be used to make smart sets.

It was not possible to set more than one filter for Classifications in the Smart Set dialog
